Extending its nose to touch
The sweltering summers up there,
With a tapping tail which bangs
The dreary lanes of the tomb city;
Moves on my crawling centipede.
Drenched in the midway summer rains,
Blowing those steamy vapours
Onto the skies of Guntur;
My summer Train, does chuckle, grunt and groan
Waiting for those pilgrims and passers by.
Twenties printed on the tickets and
The sweltering summers up there,
With a tapping tail which bangs
The dreary lanes of the tomb city;
Moves on my crawling centipede.
Drenched in the midway summer rains,
Blowing those steamy vapours
Onto the skies of Guntur;
My summer Train, does chuckle, grunt and groan
Waiting for those pilgrims and passers by.
On my trail from the cages of romance
To those of reality and bare life;
An endless swapping of roles:
Lay(wo)menly to the scholastic and back-
From child to adult, back and forth.Twenties printed on the tickets and
Teens printed onto photos in the family album.
I do move on with you in blue
Not the one, never is it the colour of
Those autumn skies.
Hope more will come
